Clause regarding the protection of personal data

In accordance with the provisions set out in Section 5 of LOPD, the Assembly of Madrid informs that any personal information provided by filling in the form for User Registration shall be kept in a database for which the Assembly of Madrid is responsible. You have the right to access, rectify, cancel and oppose the processing of your personal information in the terms and conditions established in the LOPD by writing to the following email address:  info@asambleamadrid.es or using the automated system that the Assembly of Madrid has put at the disposal or the website Users at www.asambleamadrid.es.

Please notify the Assembly immediately of any change in your personal details so that any information contained in the database is accurate and up to date at all times. By accepting this clause, you acknowledge that the information and the data provided to the Assembly of Madrid are accurate and true.

Failure to provide or only partially providing the obligatory information requested in this form may result in the Assembly of Madrid being unable to provide the service requested.

Personal details are necessary for the following purposes:

  1. To enable persons to register as Users, give each one a user name and a password and to manage all the users who have registered with the website of the Assembly of Madrid.

  2. To allow users registered with the Website access to those services that require the use of their user name and password.

  3. To facilitate and simplify for users the filling in of forms when applying for a service by avoiding the need to give information that has already been provided to the Assembly of Madrid at the time of registration.

  4. To allow the processing of information for statistical purposes and to determine the quality of the service provided, so long as no dissociated information is used for this purpose.

  5. To inform Users of any news related to the Assembly of Madrid or which may be of interest.

You give your express and unequivocal consent to the incorporation of your personal data in the database owned by the Assembly of Madrid and used for the purposes described in this clause.

By accepting the contents of this clause, you accept that you have been notified of the provisions of Section 27 of the LOPD with respect to the first disclosure of information. The consent for the communication of data may be revoked at any time without retroactive effect.

Pursuant to Section 5.4 of the LOPD, in the event that you provide third party personal information, you must have previously notified that third party of the contents of the information provided, its source, the existence and the purpose of the data base containing the information provided, the addressees of the information, the right of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition, as well as of the identity of the Assembly of Madrid.

The Assembly of Madrid undertakes to treat your personal details as strictly confidential and will use them exclusively for the above-mentioned purposes; the Assembly of Madrid has put in place security measures adequate for the protection of the information provided, as stated in the Terms and Conditions of Use of this Website.
